Federico Bernadeschi Player Analysis

Federico Bernadeschi is a Juventus player who plays an attacking midfielder role. Due to his flexibility, Bernadeschi can play on various positions. He can play as both right and left wing, false nine position and position ten to help in attacking. He took part on two of Ronaldo's goals at home debut versus Atletico Madrid. He assisted and earned a penalty which sealed Ronaldo's hat-trick.  Here are few reasons why Bernadeschi is important to Juventus' striking force.

1. Strong with the ball.
It is not easy to take the ball from Bernadeschi. He can posses the ball and dribble past two or more defenders without losing the ball to opponents. Stamina makes Bernadeschi a big threat to his rivals.

2. Quick and Creative.
Bernadeschi has fast pace which can make him run past defenders. He also has great vision which makes him spot a team mate from a distance. Bernadeschi always eyes the box and has a great shooting accuracy.

3. Positional Sense and Defensive work.

From his last matches,  we've seen Bernadeschi looking for void spaces which he mostly uses during dribbling. He is able to position himself in the void spaces which gives him chance to calculate and locate his team mates. Most top players who are good strikers are poor when it comes to defensive work. Bernadeschi is totally opposite. He is good in defensive roles.
During his early years in football career he used to play as a wingback and managed to play the position very well.  Also he is good when it comes to intercepting balls which opponents try to play. He uses his quick pace to achieve this.

4.Best Free kick and Penalty taker.
Having the ability to curl the ball from the far most point, Bernadeschi can make the commentator yell at the top of his voice due to his amazing free kick skills.  Some of his goals were nominated to Juventus' best free kick goals 2017/18 season.

Although he is among the important people to Juventus players, still there are some areas he needs to improve. According to Arrigo Sacchi, he pointed out Bernadeschi uses his left foot only.  "He is a good player (Federico Bernadeschi)  and plays very well. He is a good decision maker and a threat with the ball. His weakness is that he uses only his left foot. Using one foot can risk your dribbling as it is easy to predict the position you are about to take. This can make the opponent block your way and shut you down easily."
