Match Analysis: Arsenal Defensive Problems Continue As They Lost To Chelsea in Europa Finals

Image
Arsenal had one of the worst nights yesterday in Baku, Azerbaijan. It's now evident that Arsenal will be playing Europa League for the 2nd season after failing to make it to the top four last season. Let's see the possible reasons why Arsenal lost to Chelsea: 1. Poor Build-Up. Arsenal were seen even before the match, the line-up communicated fluently that they wanted to control the midfield. Chelsea is one the teams with a strong midfield in the Premier League. Although it seems simple to by-pass it, care must be done to win this. Also, the midfield is the centre of 'Sarriball'. So, Arsenal wanted to stop and neutralize the midfield by playing wingbacks in the midfield. They made it perfectly in the first half unknowing that Sarri had another option. 2. Few Arsenal Players in The Chelsea Box. It's only Lacazette in the box and Aubameyang's cross goes wide no Arsenal player to chase the ball.  This is the main reason why Arsenal lost several m

This Is What You Should Expect In Chelsea vs Arsenal Europa Finals.

Chelsea will take on Arsenal in the Europa League finals in Baku, Azerbaijan. This will mark the last London rivalry in 2018/19 season. It won't be an easy match to either side as Chelsea's Maurizo Sarri is looking to win his first silverware in Stamford Bridge. On the other end, Arsenal are looking for an opportunity to play in the Champions League next season. Indeed, this match carries a lot! Arsenal will miss Henrikh Mikhitaryan who did not travel to Baku due to political rivalry of his country and Azerbaijan. On the other side, Ngolo Kante's chance to play is 50/50. Here are the things you should expect: 1. A match with a high tempo. Because these teams want the silverware, the match will have a high pace. Hazard might play for his last match in Chelsea and wants to leave in style. On the other hand, Arsenal are looking for the first European Championship for years; before the new era. On top of that, Arsenal want to play the Champions League next season a chan

Sevilla FC became the first La Liga and Spanish team to visit East Africa region. The team took on Tanzania's  champions Simba SC at the National Stadium in Dar esalaam. Simba sc fans during the sportpesa challenge cup in Dar esalaam. Photo-standard. It was a fascinating match and the residents and fans were happy to see former Man City star, Jesus Navas and colleagues in Tanzania. It was a nice day for the residents as they turned up in large numbers indeed . The hosts (Simba SC)  were leading 3-1 by half time. Thanks to John Bocco's double and Medi Kagere's goa. Sevilla won the match 5-4 and here are lessons learnt from the match: 1. Never Say Never. As we saw Simba sc taking the lead just 25 minutes by 2-0, many people knew things won't work for Sevilla. On the other hand,  Sevilla stayed focused and composed on their game play. They did not panic and at the end they won 5-4. Thanks to Alvaro Negredo's late goal. 2. The Final Whistle is The End of

Oleksandr Zhinchenko is an Ukranian professional footballer now playing for Manchester City. He started his career at FC Ufa in Ukraine and played as an attacking midfielder. He joined Manchester City on 4th June 2016 and sent on loan to PSV Eindhoven. His fee from Ufa to Man City was £1.80 million. He returned to Man  City on mid 2017. Picture:courtesy of Citywatch We all know Zhinchenko plays as a left back under Guardiola. Here are his capabilities: 1. Quick Pace Zhinchenko has a quick pace which enables him to launch counter attacks and rushing back to defend in time. This made Pep Guardiola to transform him to be a left-back. 2. Passing Accuracy. He has amazing passing accuracy which enables him to find and link up his team mates. Atleast 60% of his passes this season found the target hence he is one of the best players when it came to passing. This makes him one of the youngest player to play as a left-back in the Man City's squard. Courtesy inews 3.

Do Fixed Matches Really Exist?

Image
An example of a fixed match agency-google This question itches many people's minds hence leaving them on a dilemma. Maybe yes and maybe no can be the answers from 90% of people who come across this issue. First, fixed matches are stage managed matches whose results were settled before the match began and at the end the results matched those released before. Professionally, match fixing is not allowed in professional matches and may result into the following actions: 1. The team would be relegated to the last division. 2. Lifetime ban in sports participation. 3. Heavy fines and imprisonment. As you can see, there are tough measures when caught fixing a match. It isn't football matches only even other sports can be fixed. According to my research and experience, there is NO fixed matches. It is a pure scam and fraud imposed by conmen who invented a new method of earning without working. As I have told you earlier, I was affected with this issue too. I met someone

Liverpool vs Barcelona Post-Match Analysis.

Image
It was a night Lionel Messi, his colleagues and the whole Barcelona fraternity would not forget. Firstly, the ex-Liverpool players(Coutinho and Suarez) were coldly received. The night seemed unusual for the fans, coach and the players at large. Liverpool fans were chanting "Never give up"and glorifying their team. They kept reminding Messi, "This is Anfield!" Here are some of the reasons behind Barca's loss: Messi's reaction after losing 4-0    Overconfidence Barcelona knew that they had qualified and Liverpool could not overturn the 3 goal deficit. We saw it since the first whistle Barcelona were sluggish. They were prone to mistake and lazy. Liverpool took the charge and punished them.  Poor Defensive Organisation Jordi Alba's mistakes gifted Liverpool an early goal through Origi. From there,  many errors followed. In Wijnaldum's second goal, Barcelona had 5 players in the box against Liverpool's 3. They failed to organise thems

Clash of titans: Barcelona vs Liverpool pre-match tactical analysis

Image
The whole football world will set eyes on Camp Nou Barca's home stadium when they take on Liverpool on the first leg of Champions League semi-finals. Both teams have great attacking forces. This match will be interesting to watch two giants fighting and game of chess between two great managers. Let's see each team's strength and weakness. Barcelona's tactics 1.High Defensive line Barca like playing with a high defensive line in order to help the midfield and strikers to press the opponent high on the pitch. Also this helps the team to press, attack and defend as a close unit. This tactic is good as it instills offside trap. The disadvantage of this tactic is a void space is left between the defence line and the goal keeper. When playing with an opponent who makes quick attacks on transitions then more problem will be caused to the defence. 2. Attacking using wingbacks(Nelson Semedo and Jordi Alba)  These players have quick pace and can cause problems to an
