OLE'S MEN STEAL THE DERBY SHOW; POST-MATCH ANALYSIS.
Despite losing its dignity in the early 2000's, the Manchester Derby has become one of the hottest derby in the Premier League. Man City lined up in their normal 4-3-3 formation while Man United rook the 4-2-3-1 tactic.

It was clear from the first whistle that Man United went on the counter-attack approach while City used their normal central overloads tactic.
Man United used fast-paced forwards like Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Daniel James. The wingers stayed up high on the pitch to hit City on transitions.
Why Man City Lost The Match:
1. Man City's struggling defence.

Injury crisis has hit Guradiola's City and currently, they're missing Aymeric Laporte on the Centre-back position. Also, Oleksandr Zhinchenko, Sergio Aguero and Leroy Sane lead the top-list. Man City have been struggling to make a cleansheet but they failed. That's why their defence is struggling.
2. The blocking of David Silva/Kevin De Bruyne's venom.
These two midfielders are the innercore of Man City's goals and attacks. Guardiola likes using two attacking midfielders to occupy the half-spaces between the Centre-back and wingback. Ole Gunnar had done his assignment very well and used Fred and McTominay to block the passing lanes and man-mark them. This forced City to use Kyle Walker and Angelino to whip in crosses but Manchester United's defence did a good job of defending well.
3. City were not clinical infront of the goal.
City had several chances but failed to convert them into goals. This haunted them as they went down 2-1 at home. Also, they got not less than 10 corners which should result atleast 2 goals but they only scored one goal. For a team to win matches, the players should convert the chances they get.
CONCLUSION:
Manchester United have been performing very well against top 6 teams and only drew one match against Liverpool this season. This has propelled them from number 15 to 5. It is a nice display from Ole Gunnar's men. On the other hand, Man City need to improve on their defensive tactics and try to utilise the players available and stop blaming injuries.
This great bro keep it up
